I have yet to view last night's debate, but the ehadlines indicate that Huckabee performed well depsite skeptics' concern that once criticism commenced he would buckle.

Thanks for the link – I don’t keep up with politics or tv all that much. I did watch the whole link that you posted, and most of the democratic youtube debate as well, although it was less interesting than the republican one.
Maybe it was just because I was tired of watching, but it seemed to me that the Democratic debate was the same old stuff that the debates always are, not much content, and complaining about each other, and dodging questions, “let me get back to that other question…”. Perhaps there should be a moderator, or group of moderators who get to vote on whether someone’s microphone gets to be turned on or off, and they just shut people down when they ignore the requests to stop talking past the time limit, or to stay on the question, etc.
Giuliani looked bad a number of times during this debate – probably a less friendly crowd than he is used to or something.
I think Huckabee looked good, and it was neat to see the link you posted the other day about his ratings rising significantly – I wouldn’t have thought it would happen.
I was less thrilled with Ron Paul than I thought I would be.
If Obama had answered the questions instead of trying to get various points across, he would have looked really good. Still looked pretty good, though.
I didn’t watch the last 6 or so questions – they were taking forever to download.
Some of the democratic candidates look about twice the age of Obama. I liked the question, “how will we know you are any different than the rest of the candidates, and past presidents?” And a couple career politicians tried to answer, but couldn’t really.
