It’s a sad day in the ‘Burgh. The creator of the Terrible Towel and long time Steelers announcer icon Myron Cope has died.
A Visit

I made a trip down to visit the crew in Gaithersburg and had a blast. We did lots of chasing, wrestling, and tickling and of course lots of holding baby Elisabeth.
William is such a happy, affectionate little guy and he seems to do a pretty good job of remembering me between visits. Elisabeth is becoming better natured by the day and seems to starting to really enjoy “playing”.
Chuck, Bethany, and I enjoyed numerous games of bowling on the Wii. Bethany and I seemed to beat Chuck pretty much each time. I think it surprised us all since video game champs and computer geeks go hand in hand.
Review: Chocolate Cherry Diet Dr. Pepper

I know, a product with that many words in title can’t be any good. However, since I love chocolate covered cherries so much and really enjoy Diet Dr. Pepper, I thought it was worth a try. If you would like to submerge a couple of Tootsie-Rolls into your Diet Dr. Pepper, than you will probably like the new product, otherwise, stick to the original.
Jews for Huckabee

No kidding. We have all heard of Jews for Jesus, but now there is a blog called “Jews for Huckabee“. This particular blog has already started taking aim at Senator Obama and his controversial pastor. Interestingly enough, the blogger is from Pittsburgh.
If the Jews for Huckabee website wasn’t intriguing enough, I found a link in the comments of one of the posts to the Muslims for Huckabeeblog. Who’d a thought? Unfortunately, this poor man has been accused of being anti-Muslim.
The Mormons for Huckabee blog, “disappeared” but now it is back. I will leave the speculation to you.

GOP hopeful, Mike Huckabee, will appear on Saturday Night Live this week as the show makes its comeback appearance since the end of the writer’s strike. Who knows, maybe they will let him sit in with the band.

I will miss it because I will be south of the now line, but the rest of my friends north of the Mason-Dixon line will enjoy a nice little snow storm. Looks like Pittsburgh will get at least 3 inches. Some maps show Pittsburgh in the 3-6 inch range.
Baby Jack Pictures

I rode over with Iva and Ella to visit Baby Jack, Jill, & Bill tonight. Ella was quite taken with her baby brother. She sang to him, kissed him, was upset when he cried and said “love you” to him as she said goodbye (unprompted). She was very sweet with him.
I have uploaded pictures to Flickr and you can view them here. I also have some video clips and am processing those and the pictures into a slide show which should be available later tonight.

Jack Timothy Nelson was born this morning weighing in at 8 lbs. 2 oz and sporting strawberry blond hair.
