Who Else?
How many people do you know get hurt watching an athletic event? That’s right, one if you know me. I didn’t get seriously hurt, but enough to joke about.
I went with Bill & Jill Nelson to watch the Pittsburgh Penguins play today, courtesy of John & Lisa Bodine. At some point during the second period a rogue hockey puck made its way into the stands, hit the sign behind me (above my head) and dropped onto my shoulder and behind Jill’s back. When the puck fell, I was leaning forward with my hands over my head. Let me tell you, those pucks hurt! The good news is that Jill kept the puck and has a great souvenir.
The game was a total blast. IT is so much better to watch hockey live.
