Drumroll Please….The LG Dare

For those of you sick and tired of the horrible reception I get on my current cell hone, relief is within sight.  I have been eligible for my upgrade for quite some time, but earlier this year I caught wind of a new LG phone due to be released in 2008, the LG Dare.  I have been a long time LG phone fan, mostly due to call quality.

Now, let me say from the get go, the Dare is not an iPhone rip off.  Anyone familiar with the phone industry will point out that LG was making touch screen phones (LG Prada) iPhone was even in consideration.  It would be easy to turn this into an iPhone Apple rant, but I will exercise some degree of self-control.

 

I think that this phone will make transition from smartphone back to regular phone fairly.  Early users are reporting that the on screen Qwerty is great.  The phone is due to be available on line late next week.
