Washington Times - Obama tried to sway Iraqis on Bush deal
The Washington Times has a story on Senator Obama’s alleged attempt to interfere with President Bush’s negotiations with the Iraqi government. If the allegations are true, there is some question as to whether the Senator committed a felony by violating the Logan Act. Supporters of Senator Obama claim that his position on the Senate Foreign Relations committee makes the Logan Act not applicable.
