This was slipped in by Senator Daschle who is noted as saying, Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them".
- I have been trying to get through to Senator Specter's office since last week and I have been unsuccessful. He is one of three Republican Senators voting for the tax and spend bill.
- The President is moving the Census collection from the Department of commerce to his Chief of Staff, Rahm Emmanuel, further politicizing an already polarizing process.
