I wasn't upset to see Arlen Specter leave the GOP. Arlen Specter thought he would escape the wrath of frustrated voters by switching parties. What I did find troubling, though, was that from his press conference, it was evident that he was not motivated by an ounce of public service, but instead by a desire to preserve his own career.So, I thought, "Why not start Operation Chaos II? Why not have another Conservative switch parties and run against Specter?" Specter went to the Democratic party to travel the path of least resistance. Specter will have difficulty raising money, given his recent switch and you can almost go to the bank and the fact that the Dems cut him the deal of the century to switch, so if we really want to see the Senator have to fight for his seat, we need to run either a conservative Democrat against him or have a Republican switch parties and run against him.
