Fetterman’s Farce

Braddock mayor, John Fetterman, would like us to believe that simply passing cap and trade laws will bring the desolate Braddock steel valley back to life. Fetterman's assertion assumes those jobs will return to the labor heavy suburbs of Pittsburgh, where companies will struggle to be profitable due to the strong-arm tactics of the unions. Secondly, Fetterman's campaign is selfish. He is willing to sacrifice other jobs to bring jobs back to Braddock. Lastly, cap and trade is a joke. Such laws will only serve to create a black market for energy credits, increase the size of government, and fail to bring about real energy solutions.
