JennCast Storm Update

image

Well over a foot of snow has fallen in Pittsburgh since it started snowing around lunchtime on Friday. Reports of freezing fog, thunder snow, disruptions in public transportation services, and closed roads and highways littered with accidents are just a few issues facing Pittsburghers. Currently, over 100,000 customerd are without power and I am one of them. Heavy wet snow has been bringing down limbs and power lines throughout the evening. Fortunately, I have been able to post this update with my Droid.

The JennCast calls for continued light to moderate snow throughout the day Saturday before tapering off in the afternoon.

My neighbor, Ron, has. Been busy snowblowing the walks…thanks, Ron!

What does the JennCast say for how long the snow will continue?

I need to shovel my rental property in Pittsburgh, and it’d be nice to not have to do it twice, at least this weekend. I know you’ve said more is coming later in the week.

(by the way, there is something funny in your comment box – like a background text, or image or something, that makes the first line of my comment hard to read when typing)

Ah, it is the label “Comments” is showing inside the box somehow.

Probably the “position: absolute” in style.css: absolute positioning should be avoided if you can help it, at least in most cases.
