An operational guide for the Standard (100Ah Lithium) and optional Lithium Upgrade power systems available on the TAB 360.
All Systems
Battery Switch & Heater
Battery switch should be "On" when not in storage, including while towing.
Battery switch should be "Off" when the camper is in storage.
Solar still charges the battery when the battery switch is off.
The battery has built-in low-temperature protection to prevent damage when charging below freezing.
The battery heater can be turned on to charge the battery below freezing.
Standard System
Standard System (100Ah Lithium)
Core Components
100Ah 12V Lithium Battery: A lithium battery that runs the trailer's DC components.
Converter/Charger: When plugged into shore power, this converts 120V AC to 12V DC to power DC systems and charge your battery.
System Operation
Off-Grid (Battery Power): The 100Ah battery powers your 12V DC circuits only. The 120V AC wall outlets will not be active.
On Shore Power: Connecting to an external power source activates all 12V DC and 120V AC circuits. The converter also recharges your battery.
What You Can Power
From Battery: All 12V appliances, including:
Fridge
Fan
Alde (control panel; heat & hot water powered by LP)
Stove
Lights
12V, USB, and USB-C outlets
Water Pump
Cassette toilet
CO2 monitor
From Shore Power: All of the above, plus any appliance plugged into the wall outlets (e.g., coffee maker, TV) and the air conditioner.

Lithium Upgrade Package
Core Components
270Ah Battleborn Gamechanger Battery: A high-capacity, deep-cycle lithium battery that replaces the standard battery.
Victron Multiplus 3000W Inverter/Charger: An all-in-one unit that serves two key roles.
Victron Multiplus Modes
Control the Multiplus using the VictronConnect app on your smartphone. Four modes are available:
On
Inverter and charger are both active.
Charger Only
Inverter is off, battery charging is on.
Inverter Only
Only the inverter is active.
Off
Neither charger nor inverter; solar still charges.
Turn the Multiplus to "Charger Only" when connected to shore power to conserve battery and reduce unnecessary inverter draw.
What You Can Power
From Battery (Inverter ON): All 12V systems AND any appliance plugged into the wall outlets, including the microwave and the air conditioner.
From Shore Power: All systems.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How long will my battery last while boondocking?
Battery life depends entirely on your usage. Get a personalized estimate with the TAB Power Calculator.
Standard System (100Ah Lithium)
Can I run the air conditioner?
Only when plugged into shore power. The standard battery system cannot power the air conditioner on its own.
What is the ideal use case for the Standard System?
Perfect for campers who primarily stay at campgrounds with electrical hookups, but want a reliable 12V system for basic needs like lights and the water pump when briefly off-grid (e.g., overnight stops).
Lithium Upgrade Package
What setting should the Multiplus be in when used with shore power?
"Charger Only"
How can I ensure the AC keeps running if there is a power outage at the campground?
Change the Multiplus to "On".
How do I use the 120V outlets, microwave, or AC while boondocking?
Set the Victron Multiplus Mode to "On".
Does the inverter need to be on when connected to shore power?
No. The recommended setting is "Charger Only" to charge your batteries without the inverter running unnecessarily.
