What do you do when your trip is interrupted by a blizzard? Do you pack up and go home? Fund a place to hunker down? Would you even know if your trip was about to be interrupted by inclement weather.
My fall 2019 trip was interrupted by two different blizzards. I was able to adjust my plans, accordingly, and stilled enjoyed a terrific adventure. In 2013, my trip was interrupted by a government shutdown.
Unfortunately, many people naively explore areas that are unfamiliar to them without any thought of how to access the right kind of emergency information.
