A New Way of Seeing (and Hearing) the World

The quiet of a heavy snowfall reminds me the stillness of boondocking, far away from the crowds of busy campgrounds.

Usually, I capture these moments with my camera. But lately, I’ve been exploring a different medium. I’m thrilled to finally share my new album, “The Wonder’s Winning Out,” now available on Spotify and Apple Music. Most people don’t know that I began college as a music education major. I have kept at least a small connection to music throughout my life.

The “Robot” in the Room 🤖

I want to be upfront with you: I collaborated with AI to bring some of these ideas to life. Think of it like a new lens or a different grade of film. It didn’t do the dreaming for me, but it helped me translate ideas into something you can actually plug your headphones into. It’s a strange, wonderful tool for a creator.

Waiting for “The Thaw”

There’s a track on the album called “The Thaw” that feels particularly right for today. While we’re all shivering and waiting for the ground to reappear, this song is about that inevitable moment when the ice breaks.

Rocky (my 11-year-old Shih Tzu/studio manager) has mostly spent the production phase curled up on a warm blanket, occasionally offering a judgmental huff if a mix wasn’t quite right. He’s a tough critic, but he gave this one four paws up. 🐾

I’d love for you to give it a listen while you’re staying warm.

It’s available on Spotify and Apple Music.
