Hitching Your TAB

Line up vehicle and lower coupler onto the hitch ball.

Secure the coupler latch and insert the safety pin.

Connect safety chains in a crisscross 'X' pattern.

Plug in the 7-pin connector to your vehicle.

Attach the breakaway cable to your vehicle's frame.

Fully retract the front jack.

Test brake lights, turn signals, and running lights.

Remove and store the wheel chocks.

Unhitching Your TAB

Chock the trailer wheels securely on both sides.

Lower the front jack until it makes firm contact with the ground.

Disconnect the breakaway cable from your vehicle.

Unplug the 7-pin connector.

Unhook the safety chains from your vehicle.

Remove the safety pin and unlatch the coupler.

Raise the trailer with the jack until it is clear of the hitch ball.

Slowly drive your tow vehicle forward.

Safety First: Double-Check Everything!

Before driving off, always perform a final walk-around. Physically check that the coupler is latched, the safety pin is in, chains are secure, and the 7-pin is connected. A moment of double-checking prevents major problems down the road.
